A trainer’s guide should explain how to run the learning activity around a VR exercise. It needs to cover the purpose, preparation, observation and discussion, as well as the basic equipment steps. A guide is most useful when another facilitator can use it without relying on the original developer.
Explain the lesson and its boundaries
State the intended learners, learning objective and prerequisite knowledge. Explain what the scenario includes and what it does not assess. List the approved procedure or teaching material that supports the exercise, together with its version.
Make the session easy to run
Include a setup checklist, briefing, controls, stopping instructions and reset routine. Specify any required supervision and alternative participation options. Troubleshooting should cover common interruptions without asking the trainer to guess how the application works.
Provide prompts for the debrief
Suggest questions about what the learner noticed, why they chose an action and how it relates to work. Explain any displayed scores or feedback. If the exercise records results, describe what those records mean and their limits.
High5VR works with professional trainers at Bhuku on appropriate training projects. Trainer involvement and responsibilities are agreed for each project.
Discuss your project with High5VR
High5VR can discuss a facilitator guide as a defined deliverable alongside development. Its content and any trainer familiarisation session should be agreed in the project scope.
