How can we check training progress without relying only on a written test?

How can we check training progress without relying only on a written test?

An explanation, a supervised demonstration or a discussion of an approved scenario may reveal different aspects of learning. Decide which evidence is suitable for the objective. A written test remains useful for some purposes, but it should not automatically stand in for every practical task.

Keep records meaningful

If an application records attempts, choices or completion time, define how those measures will be interpreted. A faster response is not always a better response. Trainers need enough context to understand what a record says and what it cannot establish.

Connect the exercise to required assessment

High5VR can scope a VR practice add-on with agreed reporting where appropriate. The responsible training team should determine whether further instruction or practical assessment is needed. Do not treat an application result as certification unless that use has been explicitly established through the relevant process.
