What skills should you look for in a VR training development team?

A VR training project needs more than impressive graphics. The team must understand how to turn an approved learning objective into an experience that staff can use and trainers can review. The skills required vary with the content, hardware and reporting scope.

Look for learning and production understanding

Ask how the team works with your subject experts, writes scenarios and plans feedback. Filmed dialogue requires different production skills from a modelled equipment exercise. Relevant examples should demonstrate the kind of work your project actually needs.

Ask about interaction and device testing

The team should explain how controls, navigation and performance will be tested on the intended headset. If reporting or another system connection is required, identify who is responsible for it. A feature shown in a demonstration is not necessarily included in your proposal.

Check delivery and future support

Agree who supplies the build, source assets, instructions and any documentation. Clarify rights, acceptance checks and how changes are handled. Ask what is covered after delivery and what would need additional work.

High5VR works with professional trainers at Bhuku on appropriate training projects. Trainer involvement and responsibilities are agreed for each project.
