Quantum Leap first-person streaming brings a live view from a remote participant into an OowOah VR Meeting Room. It is designed to help a group see what someone elsewhere is seeing, using supported streaming equipment.
Give the remote view a purpose
A demonstration might introduce a workplace, show an object or explain a process from the presenter's viewpoint. Decide which details the group needs to see. A live view is most useful when it answers a specific question rather than moving around without an explanation.
Understand the viewing format
The streamed image is presented within the meeting room. This is different from a live 360° audience broadcast through OowOah Live VR. The source equipment and its supported format determine what participants can see; do not assume every first-person stream provides unrestricted 360° viewing.
Choose compatible equipment
OowOah describes support for a first-person view from a Meta Quest headset or OowOah AI smart glasses. Confirm the current supported hardware and setup before arranging a session. Camera placement, image quality and the presenter's movements affect how easy the view is to follow.
Plan sound and connectivity
Participants need to understand the explanation as well as see the picture. Test the connection, audio and room display in advance. A remote location with unreliable connectivity may need a different approach or a prepared recording to support the discussion.
Respect the working environment
Agree what can be shown and avoid capturing sensitive details or identifiable people unnecessarily. The presenter should follow their workplace's rules and keep the session separate from tasks where streaming could create a distraction. Viewing a demonstration does not replace practical instruction or assessment.
