OowOah Live VR Events: Add a VR Audience to Your Existing Event

OowOah Live VR Events is designed to add a remote VR audience alongside the people attending your event in person. Developed by High5VR, the platform brings live 360° broadcasting together with event information and ticket access.

Share the event you already run

The idea is to introduce another way to attend an existing talk, seminar or performance. A compatible 360° camera captures the venue, while remote viewers use a supported headset to look around. This is a broadcast from a real location, rather than an avatar meeting in a virtual room.

Plan the viewer's position

Camera placement determines the remote audience's viewpoint. Choose a position that offers an appropriate view without blocking access or distracting attendees. Think about how clearly slides, demonstrations and speakers will appear from that location.

Prepare equipment and connection

Organisers need a compatible 360° camera with the supported live-streaming capability and suitable internet connectivity. Test audio as well as the picture. Confirm camera compatibility and the setup process with OowOah before purchasing equipment or advertising access.

Understand the platform fee

OowOah's published model has no registration fee or monthly platform fee, and the platform takes 15% of VR ticket sales. Camera, connectivity and any event production costs are separate considerations. Check the current terms when planning your event and ticket price.

Follow the launch information

Speaker registration is scheduled to open on 1 November 2026, with the first public event planned for 10 November 2026. Those are planned dates rather than a claim that the service is already open today. The OowOah website provides the current details and an enquiry route for interested speakers.

If you already run events and want to explore a VR audience, share your event type, venue and intended date. Visit the speaker information page to discuss compatibility and preparation before committing to a broadcast.
