How can we give employees time to practise without rushing them?

A practice activity can allow learners to revisit instructions or repeat a task, while a formal assessment may have different rules. Decide which you are creating and explain that distinction. Learners should understand whether an attempt is for exploration, feedback or an assessed result.

Make repetition useful

A repeat should help someone reconsider a decision or focus on a step they missed. Avoid simply restarting a long introduction every time. In an application, pausing, repeating and returning to instructions need to be defined as features rather than assumed.

Give trainers information they can use

If attempts or completion times are recorded, agree how trainers interpret them. A longer session is not automatically a poor result. High5VR can scope an immersive practice add-on around the intended activity, with the wider course providing the guidance and required assessment.
