Listening, clarifying a request and explaining an agreed next step are different skills. Select one objective and an approved fictional situation. The exercise should reflect the employee’s role and the organisation’s own approach, rather than invent promises staff cannot make to customers.
Decide how learners will respond
A role play, recorded example or digital character can support different activities. In a VR application, selectable answers and spoken interaction require different development work. Agree the intended responses, feedback and limits before commissioning the experience.
Debrief the approach
Ask what the learner understood about the customer’s request and how they chose their response. Trainers can discuss alternatives without pretending one script suits every encounter. High5VR can scope an immersive add-on to the wider customer-service programme using content approved by the responsible team.
