A festive window can catch somebody’s attention for a few seconds. A carefully planned immersive experience could give interested visitors another way to explore its story, whether inside the shop or through an agreed online viewing route.

Choose the experience you want to create

A retailer might commission a short 360° film of a decorated setting or an interactive VR scene inspired by a seasonal display. Those are different projects, with different content, equipment and delivery requirements.

Decide what visitors should do and how long it should take. A short, clear experience may suit a busy shop better than an elaborate environment that needs a lengthy explanation.

Make the customer journey practical

If a headset is used on the premises, plan staffing, space, device care and how customers move into and out of the experience. Participation should be optional, with another way to access important product or service information.

A physical window does not automatically become interactive because a VR experience exists. If you want phone-based overlays on the window, that would be an augmented reality requirement to discuss separately.

Plan the production early

Agree who supplies the designs, characters, branding and any music. Set an approval timetable that leaves room for testing before the display opens. The experience should accurately represent what is available rather than suggesting unconfirmed products or events.

High5VR can discuss a bespoke festive concept and help identify an achievable first scope. This is a creative possibility for a commissioned project, not an announcement that a particular retailer or ready-made Christmas system is already involved.
