The space needed for VR training depends on whether learners sit, stand or move. A seated conversation and a room-scale exercise need different arrangements. Confirm the application’s intended setup and supported device requirements before choosing a session area.
Use a designated environment
Headset sessions should take place in a suitable area separated from live workplace activity. Your organisation should assess the space and define how it is managed. Avoid assuming that an empty corner of an operational site is automatically appropriate.
Think about the facilitator
Allow for introductions, equipment setup and supervision. Consider where waiting learners will be, how a participant asks for help and how the session can be stopped. The space needs to serve the learning activity and practical delivery.
Test the proposed setup
Trial the application in the intended area with the agreed devices. High5VR can discuss seated or limited-movement designs where appropriate. Share your available space and audience during scoping so the module is built around realistic delivery conditions rather than an assumed room size.
