Can we add new levels and challenges after a VR game launches?

A VR game can be planned to accept additional levels after launch. That possibility needs to be considered in the game structure and delivery arrangements. It does not mean that future artwork, programming or hosting work is included in the first release.

Define a complete first version

Choose the core activity, initial levels and player journey. Make the first release useful on its own. Record the features needed now and keep speculative additions separate from the agreed build.

Plan progress and content handling

Discuss how levels are selected, how updates are installed and whether saved progress must remain available. If online services or accounts are involved, define who operates them. These foundations need testing against the proposed update approach.

Scope each expansion when it is known

New environments, characters and mechanics can require different kinds of work. High5VR can review an expansion against the existing build and requirements. A phased plan keeps the next decision concrete without inventing a price for undefined future content.

Costs depend on the agreed scope, development and asset work, any filming days, crew, equipment and post-production. A focused project can be inexpensive; undefined future features need to be reviewed separately.
