An incident-reporting exercise can help employees practise observing a situation and explaining it clearly. VR can provide a shared scene for that discussion, using the employer’s approved reporting process and avoiding unnecessary real personal information.
Choose what the learner should notice
Agree the relevant facts and distinguish observation from inference. A scene can include information that needs checking, but the learner should not be expected to invent missing details. Keep the scenario appropriate to the role.
Practise the report format
Ask the learner to explain what happened, what they observed and who needs to receive the information under the procedure. A separate form, trainer discussion or application interaction may be used. Data capture must be specified if required.
Review accuracy and clarity
Discuss omitted facts, assumptions and the next approved step. High5VR can develop the immersive scene as an add-on to training, with professional input and reporting responsibilities agreed for the project.
High5VR works with professional trainers at Bhuku on appropriate training projects. The trainer input and responsibilities are agreed for each scope.
