A failed delivery can involve more than finding an address. VR can add a scenario where a driver practises checking information, choosing an approved next step and communicating clearly when a delivery cannot be completed.
Use the organisation’s process
Choose a recognisable situation and identify the information available to the driver. The exercise should reflect approved instructions for contacting support, recording the event and handling the item. Do not invent a generic rule for every delivery operation.
Practise the decision and explanation
A filmed scene or interactive environment can present a customer response, access issue or conflicting instruction. Decide which choices the learner can make and how those choices are reviewed.
Connect the exercise to real work
Discuss the information needed by the next person dealing with the delivery. High5VR can develop a focused training scene with professional input where appropriate. The activity should support practical instruction, not imply authorisation to ignore the employer’s procedure.
High5VR works with professional trainers at Bhuku on appropriate training projects. The trainer input and responsibilities are agreed for each scope.
