What happens to 360° footage after the filming day?

What happens to 360° footage after the filming day?

After filming, the footage needs to be reviewed and prepared for the agreed output. Depending on the camera workflow, this may involve stitching, editing and other finishing work. High5VR defines post-production within the brief rather than assume raw recordings are ready to publish.

What should we consider?

The edit gives the material its structure. Decide which scenes support the story, how transitions work and where approved narration or interviews fit. Sound needs its own attention, particularly when it helps viewers understand activity around them.

What needs to be agreed?

The final destination affects export and playback checks. A headset experience, web presentation and conventional promotional clip are different deliverables. Include the required versions and review rounds in the production scope before filming.

How do we get started?

Share what you want to receive at handover and where it will be watched. We can explain the work between recording and delivery. If you only need raw or stitched material, say so explicitly; a finished film involves additional decisions and editing that need to be agreed.
